Hey everyone,
So at FNM (Friday Night Magic) This past week, I was completely demolished by a Mono-Blue Devotion deck in the finals. Esper Control would seem to be a good match up, but I only barely pulled through with a win. In Game 1, he casted Master of waves 4 turns in a row, getting 5 elementals, than 6, than 7 and so on. I had no chance. Game 2, he did the same thing, but I managed to pull out a detention sphere before he could swing team, managing to get through with Blood Baron for lethal Damage. In Game 3, it happened AGAIN! I pulled in at 1 life with a supreme verdict, my 2 Blood Baron's survived and I was able to rebuild faster and better than him, snagging the win from the grips of death. My proposal is this, why isn't master of waves legendary? In Games 1-3 he consistently played Master of waves starting on Turn 4, How in any way is this fair! He had a row of 5/4 elementals, this is bad. They should almost ban Master in tournaments, its horrible. Esper Control can win, and I was the only one who beat out the Mono Blue. Whats your opinion? Legendary or no

Orzhov in the Standard Meta?
Hey everyone,
I have been toying around with an Orzhov Midrange deck, and I want to know about what you guys think. The deck has been playing very well, and I believe that it is one of the few decks that can beat down boros devotion and red/green monsters. Hero's Downfall are the icing on a top of a perfect cake. I have been considering splashing red for more spot removal, such as lightning strike, but I just don't know what to drop. I am very afraid of when RtR block rotates out however, as the main win conditions are Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts, Blood Baron of Vizkopa, and Obzedat, Ghost Council. There just isn't enough to add from what is replaced. See you on our Journey to Nyx, Ill discover it from there!

Mono-Black Devotion, where will it go when Return to Ravnica Block rotates out?
Hey everyone,
I have seen a lot of people playing Mono-Black at FNM's, and it has gotten me thinking, "What will happen after Return to Ravnica Rotates out?"
After RtR rotates, the cards gone will be as follows:
-Desecration Demon
-Pack rat
-Devour Flesh
-Underworld Connections
-Nightveil Spectre
These are often played as 4-ofs, so that is a whole 20 cards gone! And in a few more months when M15 comes out, there goes the Mutavaults and Doom-Blades
I think that the Mono-Black deck will be Much harder to build around, with Gary to amount to almost nothing with the big Black pips in the mana costs gone. I hope that when the Mono-Black decks tank, so will the Mono-Blue, and maybe Red-Green Monsters will finally rise to the top! At least I hope, who doesn't love red green monsters?
